MINI-PROJECTS IN THE ENGLISH CLASS!!!

Last week our first graders made their mini-projects about their homes, they had to draw the parts of the house and describe them later in front of the class. They all did an amazing job.

(La semana pasada nuestros alumnos de 1º hicieron sus mini proyectos sobre sus casas, tenían que dibujar las partes de la casa y describirlas más tarde en frente de toda la clase. Todos ellos hicieron un trabajo excelente.)

Taste and Smell

Last friday 10th of October, our 1st graders experimented with the senses; Smell and Taste.

(El pasado viernes 10 de febrero, nuestros alumnos de 1º experimentaron con los sentidos; Olfato y Gusto.)

I brought several different things with a strong smell; perfume, curry, mint, a lavender soap, vinager, vanilla, azahar and thyme.Some were really nice to smell and some others not, they experimented with all of them, in groups and followed the rules really well.

(Traje diferentes cosas con olores fuertes; colonia, curry, menta, jabón de lavanda, vinagre, vainilla, azahar y tomillo.

Algunos eran agradables de oler pero otros no tanto, experimentaron con todos ellos, en grupos y siguieron las normas muy bien)

After trying with the sense of smell, we tried the four different flavours: salty, sweet, bitter and sour. I also brought the 4 differente flavours; they tasted salt, sugar, coffee (decaf) and lemon.

(Después de probar con el olfato, probamos con el gusto, probamos los 4 sabores básicos; sal, azúcar, café (descafeinado) y limón).

Today we've visited an art exhibition. Leo, the artist, has explained us a lot of things about his work and we could ask him many questions. What is even better, he let us touch the artworks!
